
Octagon CoreHouse - Secure sustainable shelter solutions and emergency housing
Constructed using ReBUS technology (Reinforced Building Units System), CoreHouse offers a fast, efficient and cost effective solution for shelter, security and survival. CoreHouse addresses the need for secure shelter for those made homeless by natural disasters and man-made crises and the need for affordable and sustainable housing. Resistant to the effects of earthquakes, floods and storms, the innovative and impact-resistant structure provides secure shelter for eight people.
Available as packing cases for emergency supplies in rapid response to disasters, as flat packs for easy local assembly in the recovery or reconstruction phase, or manufactured and assembled locally under licence in the reconstruction phase, as part of sites and services initiatives under local capacity building schemes.
